SK Solar Energy Research Institute
was established in 2017 as a corporate research institute and is conducting high efficiency research on building integration.
It succeeded in mass production by incorporating Korea's first high efficiency PV module technologies
such as multi-wire and gaffless into BIPV technologies.
Since then, models such as Color BIPV, Color art BIPV, and Pattern BIPV have been developed
to improve aesthetics, contributing to the development of the domestic BIPV industry
and stabilization of supply considering the appearance of buildings.
